Shoulder Pain

Kinesio tape being applied to a patient's shoulder, shoulder pain physical therapy in Austin, TX

Treatment at The Training Room is provided by Dr. Phil Davis, PT, DPT, CSCS, a Navy veteran with nearly 30 years of experience, a USC graduate trained in Active Release Techniques, and faculty in the USAHS Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

The shoulder moves more than any other joint, which makes it easy to overload. Swimmers, lifters, climbers and anyone who works overhead know the feeling.

What we commonly treat

Rotator cuff strains and tendinitis, shoulder impingement, swimmer's shoulder, frozen shoulder, and rehab after rotator cuff or labrum surgery.

Your visit

Dr. Davis tests strength and motion through the shoulder blade, shoulder and upper back, then builds a plan to restore pain-free motion and strength for your activity.

Frequently asked questions
